The Anywhere Workout is a versatile, no-equipment-needed exercise routine you can do anytime, anywhere. The workout consists of 3 simple exercises: squats, push-ups, and crunches, performed in a ladder sequence. It’s called a “Ladder” because you start with one rep of each exercise, then two reps, and then go up to 10. After that, you go back down from 10 reps to 1 (Go up the ladder, then down). This workout keeps your body constantly moving, gradually increasing the intensity with each round.
Here’s How It Works
- Start with one repetition of each exercise (squat, push-up, crunch) – that’s your first round.
- In the next round, perform two repetitions of each exercise.
- Continue this pattern, adding one more repetition to each round until you reach ten repetitions of each exercise.
- After reaching the top of the ladder at ten repetitions, you then reverse the process. Do ten repetitions of each exercise, then nine, then eight, and so on, until you’re back to one repetition.
The combination of squats, push-ups, and crunches ensures a full-body workout, targeting your legs, arms, and core. This workout can be easily tailored to your fitness level – if you’re a beginner, you might start with a smaller ladder (1-5-1), while more advanced exercisers can aim for higher ladders (1-15-1).
Need other exercises to modify this workout? Go with mountain climbers, lunges, and tricep dips instead.
Try it out! It’s a fun and convenient workout to change up your exercise routine.
