Why It’s Good for You

The protein milk and powder provide energy and curb cravings, while flax seeds offer fiber for digestion and gut health. Greek yogurt adds probiotics, and the berries and kale provide a boost of antioxidants and other nutrients. Fun fact! Kale contains a type of sugar (not your regular table sugar) called sulfoquinovose (SQ), which feeds the good bacteria in your gut.

Feel Good Protein Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients

◦ 3/4 cup of protein milk

◦ 1 scoop of protein powder

◦ 1/2 frozen banana

◦ A handful of frozen strawberries (or any other berries!)

◦ 1 TB of flax seed

◦ 1/4 cup of 0% plain Greek yogurt

◦ A handful of kale

Instructions

Directions:

Blend well (at least 30 seconds). Add a few ice cubes to thicken or place in the freezer for 7-10 minutes.
