More about me
Food and nutrition have always been a curiosity for me. But watching my mom struggle with Type 1 diabetes is what’s behind my passion for wellness. I formalized my interest and earned a Master of Science in Food and Nutrition Sciences from Ohio University. I am also a certified sobriety and life coach. All this has led me on this incredible journey to help people uncover how food can help us heal, have more energy, and live a resilient, healthy life.
My proudest accomplishment is being a mom and wife. I’m a mom to three teen boys and Lily and Bella, our 2 dogs. It’s always chaotic, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I am looking for the next mountain to climb any chance I get. I’m one of those “type 2 fun” people — the kind that is miserable while it’s happening but rewarding afterward. This year, I’ll attempt another 29029 Everesting challenge, where we climb the height of Mt. Everest within 36 hours.
I’m glad you’re here and would love to connect with you. Let me know where you are on your journey and what topics you want to explore. Your story matters to me.
