I’m always looking for quick and easy snacks to add more protein to my diet. Most of the protein balls include nut butter which makes them high in fat. This energy ball recipe is made with protein powder, greek yogurt, and coconut flour. They are low-fat, yummy protein pops! Super easy and quick to make too!
– 4 TB of protein powder (I use Beverly Cookies and Cream)
– 4 TB coconut flour
– 6 TB of 0% fat greek yogurt
– Lemon zest (about a whole lemon or more)
Mix all ingredients and gently form about 8-9 balls. Freeze for at least 15 min. Store in refrigerator.
Each ball has about 50 cal, 1 gr of fat, 4.5 gr of carbs, and 5 gr protein. Check out this avocado protein pudding for another healthy snack idea.
