This marinade recipe has been in my family for decades, and it’s a winner! My Aunt Cindy was an amazing woman and a great cook. We always loved it when she made anything with this marinade.

I like to keep it healthy and use it on flank steak, but it works well with tuna, lamb, and even portobello mushrooms. It’s very versatile—plan on doubling it and keep the extra marinade in a jar in the refrigerator for future use.

When I know I might be entertaining and want to save time, I pull out one of my go-to marinades, and this is one of them.

Ingredients

– ½ Cup soy sauce
– 6-8 Garlic Cloves
– ¼ Cup Olive Oil
– 2T Grey Poupon Mustard
– ¼ Cup of Balsamic Vinegar (you can use a combination of red wine vinegar and balsamic)
– Salt and Pepper
1 TB Italian seasoning
1-2 TB Fresh rosemary

I throw all this in my blender and mix it all. Marinate for at least two nights!
