Ingredients for Spicy Mexican Beef Recipe

  • 1 TB of olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 LB of grass fed fed beef
  • 1 jalapeño, diced
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes no salt added
  • 1/2 cup of canned black beans, rinsed (optional)
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp of black pepper
  • Pinch of cumin

Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add beef, salt, pepper, cumin, and jalapeño. Break up the meat into small pieces and cook until browned. Add canned tomatoes with the juices and bring to a simmer. Cook for 7-10 minutes.
